SEN Teaching Assistant - Bradley Stoke, Bristol ??Start: ASAPHours: Full-time or part-timeA welcomingprimary school in Bradley Stoke is looking for a dedicated SEN TeachingAssistant to provide focused 1:1 support. This role is ideal for someone withstrong SEN experience who is passionate about helping pupils access learning ina supportive, structured environment.Role Overview ??
* Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies
* Encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation
* Support classroom routines, transitions and small-group work
Candidate Profile ??
* Previous SEN experience is essential
* Calm, patient and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and rapport-building skills
* Level 2/3 TA qualification advantageous
* Driving licence beneficial
* SEN training highly valued, including:
* Understanding Autism
* ADHD Awareness
* Team Teach / De-escalation Training
* Trauma-Informed Practice
* BSL or communication-based training
* Makaton (highly desirable for supporting communication needs)
