What skills and experience we're looking for Are you a proactive and engaging individual with excellent classroom management skills, ready to step in and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences? Do you excel at motivating students and maintaining a constructive working environment across various subjects? The overall purpose of this post is to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers and implement work programmes under the guidance of teaching staff. Essential skills required are the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, maintain confidentiality, and utilize standard ICT packages including Microsoft Office. The supervisor must demonstrate excellent time management and organisation skills. Critically, they must be able to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and recognise potential child safeguarding issues. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable. The ability and willingness to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training and development is essential.
