Overview
Learning & Development Programme Manager — UK: Bracknell or Cirencester (remote with travel to offices). The role supports the implementation and delivery of training and development through the employee life cycle, working closely with functional stakeholders to ensure learning programmes align with culture and strategic priorities. The position involves hands-on support for global strategic and customised development programmes and systems used to manage learning initiatives across the organisation. Significant interaction with a wide range of stakeholders requires strong interpersonal skills, time management, accuracy and attention to detail. A qualification in adult education and learning, or CIPD, would be beneficial. Travel to the Netherlands is required on a quarterly basis to attend the company Induction Programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Training Support: Responsible for supporting, designing and delivering a variety of learning and development activities across our global footprint
* Engage with external training providers - researching, advertising, coordinating delegates and reporting on relevant training courses
* Provide reporting on effectiveness and identify further solutions to address learning needs
Training Development
* Support the provision of professional development skills training, including career development activities to support talent management in accordance with the global training policy
* In partnership with the L & D team, facilitate the delivery of the induction programme and ongoing training programmes
* Assist with the delivery of all soft skills development programmes in conjunction with requirements outlined in personal development plans and strategic requirements
Training Effectiveness
* Provide data to support training needs analysis from individual performance reviews
* Devise creative methods to communicate and market programmes
* Provide evidence-based reporting linked to company strategy
Training Frameworks and Systems
* Support the development and administration of the global training curriculum aligned to business priorities
* Support the utilisation and best practices of digital learning tools
* Manage logistics of training program delivery including scheduling courses, managing rosters, creating meeting invitations, and recording training in the learning management system
Qualifications / Requirements
Essential
* Significant experience (3 years +) working as a Learning and Development Programme Manager
* Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* A competent user of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
* Knowledge of effective learning and development methods and theories with focus on adult learning techniques
* Knowledge and application of evaluation methodologies and reporting
* Knowledge of e-learning platforms and adoption practices
* Effective interpersonal skills: ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively
* Ability to influence and motivate others in a positive and constructive way
* Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with good administrative skills with attention to detail and good follow-up
* Ability to work effectively with people from a range of different cultures
* Outcome focused, adaptable and resilient
Desirable
* CIPD, plus adult learning qualification
* Previous experience gained within the IT distribution channel
