We’re working with a specialist SEND school in Walsall that supports children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SEMH. They’re searching for a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their warm, experienced team.

What You’ll Do
* Support pupils with additional needs in small groups or 1:1
* Use creative strategies to help children communicate and engage in lessons
* Build trusted relationships that make every pupil feel safe, valued, and heard
* Work closely with teachers, and other professionals to deliver personalised support
* Help make the classroom a space where progress, however small, is celebrated
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND (formal or informal)
* A calm, caring approach and strong communication skills
* A desire to make a difference and grow within SEND education
Graduates in Psychology, Education, or related fields are especially encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
