PRS are currently assisting a client of ours to recruit a Mechanical Shift Engineer for a large blue-chip organisation based in Liverpool Street.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a client-facing environment, takes pride in high standards.
The Role
As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building services systems, with a strong focus on PPMs, reactive works and compliance.
Key duties include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on mechanical plant
* Reactive maintenance and fault finding
* Working on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves, HVAC and associated systems
* Supporting statutory compliance and site documentation
* Liaising with subcontractors and specialist service providers
* Being client-facing, representing the service provider to a high standard
* Supporting shift handovers and team coordination

* Strong mechanical bias within building services
* Experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance in commercial environments
