Overview
Our client, a well-established organisation in Hailsham, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in developing their career in accountancy, ideally with an AAT qualification (or working towards one). You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of accounting tasks while receiving support and training from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting in the preparation of accounts for a range of clients
* Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
* Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory submissions
* Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
* Supporting senior team members with ad hoc tasks and projects
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements
* Ideally AAT qualified or studying towards AAT (or equivalent)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
