PE Teacher

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate PE Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Hull. This is a full-time interim role, delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged pupils.

PE Teacher Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Promote teamwork, discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship
* Demonstrate correct techniques and ensure students understand activities
* Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Contribute to extracurricular sports and enrichment activities where possible

PE Teacher Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching qualification
* Experience planning and delivering PE in a school setting (BTEC PE experience also welcomed)
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to provide a 10-year career history with relevant references (placements accepted for ECTs)
* Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply (DBS sponsorship available)
