Senior Bookkeeper

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of general accountancy practices
- Proficient in QuickBooks and experienced in managing VAT returns
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility in working hours, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of the business
- Commitment to high standards of accuracy and quality in bookkeeping tasks

Key Responsibilities:
- Collate and prepare VAT returns in a timely manner
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with financial reporting and data analysis
- Support in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
