Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Duties
* Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
* Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
* Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as required
* Clear tables promptly and reset for new guests to maintain smooth service flow
* Handle guest queries professionally, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
* Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, counters, and beverage stations
* Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
* Experience in serving or food preparation within a busy environment
* Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
* Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is an advantage
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during service periods
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
* Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.61 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
