Sitting within a newly formed Brand and Communications team, this role will shape the company’s social presence, grow member engagement, and contribute to broader brand and business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy: Develop and execute a data-led social media strategy aligned with business objectives and tailored to platform-specific audiences.Community Building: Foster online and offline communities, manage engagement, and grow advocacy among members.Team Leadership: Lead the social team and collaborate across brand, content, PR, product, and customer service functions.Content Oversight: Guide platform-specific content and influencer strategies; ensure brand consistency across all social channels.Analytics & Optimisation: Define KPIs, track performance, and apply insights to improve reach, engagement, and ROI.Paid Social: Work with paid media teams to deliver effective social ad campaigns that drive awareness and conversions.Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of platform changes and industry trends; recommend new tools and approaches.Reputation Management: Manage issues and protect brand sentiment in collaboration with PR and legal teams.Experience Required7+ years in social media marketing, with 3+ years in a leadership role.Proven ability to scale social and community engagement for member-led or high-growth brands.Strong understanding of platform dynamics, content marketing, paid social, and analytics.Skilled in managing teams, budgets, and external partners.Excellent communication skills and brand acumen.Experience with community platforms (e.g. Facebook Groups), influencer campaigns, and membership-based organisations.Familiarity with SEO, generative AI, and their relevance to social strategy.Track record of delivering high-impact or viral campaigns.
