The role
:
You will support our military and commercial customers in the UK and overseas, delivering trials at Hurn and working with the rest of the team based at Farnborough. The Senior Vibration Engineer will also build capability and become an ‘expert’ within both the organisation and their customer community.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Identify potential human performance related opportunities both directly with Land customers and as components to larger opportunities that are being pursued strategically by QinetiQ.
2. Lead the analysis of human performance related platform vibration data analysis and reporting Lead proposals that are platform vibration related in the Land domain, working with other technical groups, ensuring an appropriate quality of bid and delivery plans.
3. Work with the wider trials team to deliver vibration data gathering on military land vehicles, ensuring the quality of the outputs.
4. Conduct customer engagement (at up to very senior levels), communicating and capturing future needs and intended customer direction.
5. Develop QinetiQ’s Human Performance Capability – identifying areas for growth and developing capability plans associated with platform vibration in the Land domain to meet future challenges. This may also involve identification and delivery of internal investment projects.
Essential experience of the Senior Vibration Engineer:
6. The Senior Vibration Engineer should have a degree or equivalent in a relevant field and substantial experience within the domain.
7. You must have experience in undertaking Vibration Trials.
8. The Senior Vibration Engineer must also have experience conducting Data Analysis,
