Double Day Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Reed Engineering are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing organisation in their search for a Double Day Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established maintenance team and play a key role in keeping production equipment and site facilities operating efficiently.
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will work proactively across a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation throughout the facility.
Proactively deliver PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) across a range of manufacturing equipment
React promptly to repairs and health & safety-related issues
Carry out general building and facility repairs as required
Recognised apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical engineering
Minimum City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, BTEC, or ONC
At least 5 years’ experience within a multi-skilled industrial maintenance environment
Solid experience in a multi-skilled industrial environment
Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits
Computer literate (Excel, Outlook, Word)
FLT licence
C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing
Basic machining competencies
Flexible attitude with willingness to learn new skills
