Our friendly recruitment team will get in touch to conduct an Online Licence Check and Right to Work Checks. You will be invited to take a tour of the site, giving you the opportunity to meet the team for a question-and-answer session. We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS). Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start! You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!
Driving Licence Requirements
* Full UK or EU driving licence.
* Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
* Maximum of 6 penalty points.
* No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.
Role Description
As a Customer Service Team Member you will deliver quality goods on time and put a smile on thousands of faces every week. You will work 3 x 8‑hour shifts each week with shifts scheduled on different days. Shift times are AM & PM – you may start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). You will be required to work any 3 days out of 7, and you will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance. All breaks are paid.
In return, we use our automated technology to pre‑plan your route and pre‑load your van. The position follows a “lunar” pay structure – you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. On top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.83 per hour.
