Identify new business opportunities and close sales across a range of technologies including marking and coding systems, lasers, inverters, motors, PLCs, industrial compressors, and related automation solutions. Deliver product demonstrations, technical consultations, and site visits to support clients with tailored engineering solutions. Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure project delivery and after-sales success. Maintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver consistent, measurable growth. Remote-based role with regular customer travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required. Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Candidate Requirements Experience in technical sales roles such as Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or Account Manager. Background in industrial components, automation, or capital equipment (e.g. compressors, drives, or control systems). Strong technical understanding and a consultative sales approach. Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree) desirable. Candidates from a service background with an interest in sales will be considered.
