Specific Working Conditions:
* Must be able to lift items up to 25kg
* This position requires physical work on deployed warships involving movement in small spaces.
* This position requires 25%-40% Temporary Duty away from site.
* This position requires personnel to be fully deployable. All deployable personnel must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Duties and Role
* Assist Core Section Head with developing technical solutions for maritime afloat tasking, troubleshooting SOPs, and hardware upgrades.
* Plan and coordinate ship surveys prior to CIS installation.
* Assist with System Administration (HW and SW) of assigned systems.
* Maintain up-to-date technical and service documentation related to systems and interconnections.
* Report Configuration Control data to Core Section Head promptly.
* Provide remote support for Flagship handovers involving Standing Naval Forces.
* Collaborate with technicians and engineers within CSU and NCI Agency.
Requirements
* NATO Secret security clearance
* Experience with VMware Virtualisation technology
* Knowledge of SAN technology
* Experience in Windows workstation imaging
* Knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange
* Experience with Application Server technologies
* Knowledge of ITIL IT service management
* Experience in Incident and Problem Management
* Ability to produce technical documentation and user guides
* Effective communication skills (oral and written)
* Problem-solving skills using rigorous logic
* Customer-focused approach with high standards
