Job Summary:
As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting residents with daily living tasks and ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. You will assist with personal care, promote independence, and build positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming in a dignified and respectful manner.
2. Assist with mobility and transfers, including use of hoists and mobility aids where required.
3. Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage social interaction and participation in activities.
4. Support residents at mealtimes including preparing, serving, and feeding if necessary.
5. Monitor and record the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of residents, reporting any changes to senior staff.
