Your Role:
As the Factory Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our production operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll lead a talented team of 16 production staff, driving efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Your leadership will inspire excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Supervise and coordinate production staff to meet output and quality targets.
5. Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to ensure deadlines are met.
6. Uphold health and safety regulations at all times-keeping everyone safe is a top priority!
7. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure everything is in tip-top shape.
8. Resolve issues proactively and report any concerns as needed.
9. Evaluate, train, and coach production staff to help them thrive in their roles.
10. Monitor production metrics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
11. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
12. Collaborate with management on process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
13. Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure materials are always available for production.
14. Foster a harmonious work environment by resolving worker issues with care and professionalism.
What We're Looking For:
15. Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment.
16. Strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
17. Ideally, you have experience or knowledge of welding, fabrication, and CNC programming.
18. Excellent leadership and management skills to inspire your team.
19. Good communication and interpersonal abilities-your team needs to feel valued and heard!
20. Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.
21. Basic computer literacy to manage reports and data.
22. Flexibility to work overtime when required.
