Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Primary Mental Health Team within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The position is a Band 5 Practitioner who will work within our PMHW role, providing advice, support and brief interventions to children and young people in the Bradford /Airedale/Craven area.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise, consult and support voluntary and community sector organisations, schools, alternative provisions and other health professionals to improve the emotional mental health of young people.
* Maintain a caseload and offer short‑term interventions to support children and young people experiencing emotional distress and to promote resilience and recovery of well‑being.
* Contribute to the development and provision of services for children and young people with mental health needs, including assessing, planning and delivering short‑term packages of care.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, offering specialist support, consultation and training to staff within the service and other agencies as appropriate.
* Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions at Tier 2 and Tier 3 levels.
* Provide consultation and liaison to teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
Band 5 level practitioner. Sponsored roles are only available for registered healthcare practitioners who meet the Trust's immigration and sponsorship criteria.
