Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: St Helens, Merseyside Salary/Benefits: £25k - £35k Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover client contracts in the North West of England. Ideally, candidates will have access to M6 for travel to client sites, as there may be a requirement to travel, depending on client requirements. The company is a medium-sized outfit, who provide the full range of Water Hygiene / Legionella services to their client-base. You will be covering sites across: St Helens, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, Leigh, Bolton, Bury, Skelmersdale, Chorley, Blackburn, Oldham, Rochdale, Bootle, Formby, Southport, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Knutsford, Chester, Northwich, Winsford, Stockport, Ormskirk, Eccles, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Macclesfield. Experience / Qualifications: - Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit - Conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines - Able to produce detailed service reports - Flexible to travel in line with company requirements - Hardworking attitude - IT literate The Role: - Travelling to a range of client sites to complete ACOP L8 compliance duties - TMV servicing - CWST cleans & disinfections - Cooling tower cleans & disinfections - Showerhead descales - Water sampling - Temperature monitoring - Outlet descales - Completing regular written reports Alternative job titles: Environmental Service Technician, Water Hygiene Technician, Legionella Operative, Legionella Technician, Water Treatment Engineer.
