About the role
Working alongside colleagues across the business, you'll raise awareness, drive demand and encourage adoption of our products and programmes. You'll develop and implement fully integrated go‑to‑market strategies that align with our mission, our product and business strategies and enable sales, including:
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting market research and using insights to guide customer‑centric product and programme development
* Understanding opportunities for new products and further growth from the existing portfolio
* Liaising with colleagues in markets around the world, especially enabling sales
* Designing and delivering marketing and communications strategies as part of collaborative projects with our clients (ministries of education, international development organisations and private organisations)
* Measuring and evaluating activities and campaigns and making recommendations for future improvements
* Managing relationships with external delivery partners to ensure campaigns and tactics are delivered on brand, on brief and on time, and that they clearly demonstrate return on investment
Work arrangements
This is a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to spend 40‑60% of their time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face at their dedicated location. We consider flexible working requests from day one, including adjustments for disability or long‑term health conditions.
Applicants must have an existing right to work in the UK. We do not normally provide sponsorship for vacancies of less than 12 months.
Requirements
* Experience in planning, briefing and project managing marketing campaigns with the customer at the centre
* Experience developing marketing messages that resonate and positively influence the target audience
* Identifying and understanding the target audience and selecting appropriate marketing channels to meet desired outcomes
* Experience evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities – insights‑driven and results‑oriented
* Accurate written and spoken English with strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
* Excellent communication skills and experience working with international audiences
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously with attention to deadlines, technology‑literate and able to collaborate across teams
* Degree educated or equivalent experience
Desirable Criteria
* Basic graphic design skills
* Knowledge of the education sector
* Proven track record of working to budgets to deliver results
* Holder of or working towards a professional marketing qualification (CIM or equivalent)

Interview Process
* First stage: virtual interview via MS Teams with the hiring manager and another colleague you’ll be working closely with.
* Final stage: in‑person interview at our Cambridge offices with the hiring manager and another colleague, followed by informal coffee with several further team members. You will be given a brief to complete a role‑related task during the interview; no preparation is required in advance.
