About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sonographer who would relish the opportunity to join our Canterbury team. You will bring clinical expertise, offering a welcoming and empathetic imaging service to our patients, referrers and funders. Experience in MSK would be advantageous for this role.

Your workday will include:
* Perform high-quality general and MSK ultrasound examinations independently, ensuring optimal images for diagnosis.
* Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide accurate interpretations of images.
* Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and adhering to safety protocols.
* Document patient information, clinical history, and ultrasound findings accurately in the medical records.
* Comfort and educate patients throughout the imaging process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
* Stay current with advancements in MSK ultrasound technology and techniques to enhance your skills and knowledge.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
