Global Logistics Staff Ltd pride ourselves on providing the very best service to our clients and we seek to recruit experienced professionals to support our clients business needs. We are currently recruiting an LGV 2 Driver for our client in the Perth area, Scotland, who specialise in delivering products within the beer industry, supporting the timely and professional delivery of our products to events, trade customers and company-owned taprooms across the UK.
This is a dayshift position working Monday to Friday.
Key Duties
Delivery of keg and cased goods to multiple customers across Scotland
Use and maintain delivery equipment
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies
Operate delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Use manual handling equipment provided in accordance with Manual Handling procedures
Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition (fuel, oil, etc)
Maintain the cleanliness and professional presentation of the vehicle at all times.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, providing excellent service and acting as a brand ambassador.
Follow pre-planned route accurately
Maintain communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule
Inform management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time
Qualifications & Education Requirements
LGV 2 Licence
Driver CPC and valid Digital Tachograph card.
Good knowledge of UK road networks and delivery procedures.
Experience in dray work
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and customer-service focused.
