Your new role As Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function and ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include: Processing and accurately marking up customer orders within strict timelines Checking orders and ensuring accuracy prior to dispatch Handling inbound customer calls in a professional and timely manner Managing a shared inbox and responding to order enquiries Raising manual overnight and collection orders Investigating discrepancies including shortages, credits, and returns Coordinating proof of delivery (POD) requests and sample orders Completing order matching and follow-ups Supporting wider administrative duties, including order entry and invoice processing Assisting management with ad hoc tasks as required What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a sales administration or office-based role Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner A proactive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to support the wider team Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Experience within a product-based or order-processing environment would be advantageous What you'll get in return Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (08:30 - 16:30) Opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team Varied and engaging role within a busy office environment Stability within a well-established organisation Onsite working in a convenient Glasgow location What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
