Overview
Our client, a leading firm in the rail sector, is currently seeking skilled Scheme Project Managers to join their team on a contract basis to oversee significant rail infrastructure projects. This long-term position operates inside IR35 and adheres to stringent industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Deliver projects safely and responsibly, meeting time, budget, and quality requirements in line with the GRIP process and company standards.
* Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Ensure all project activities adhere to environmental and health & safety guidelines.
* Manage changes and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee the production of comprehensive project management plans.
* Manage project budgets and targets effectively.
* Track project progress and communicate updates, including risks and issues, to stakeholders.
Requirements
* Experience in project management within the rail infrastructure sector.
* Proficiency in civil engineering principles.
* Understanding of Oracle Projects.
* Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures.
* HND/HNC qualification or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
