Pay: £160 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
ICTalent Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Spalding, Lincolnshire, to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Biology, with the potential to contribute across the wider Science curriculum if required.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
* Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school expectations
* Use a variety of teaching strategies to support students of all abilities
* Mark and assess student work, tracking progress and adapting teaching where needed
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom and school culture
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science department
* Participate in departmental meetings, training, and wider school life
* Ensure student safety and wellbeing by following safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE with specialism in Biology or Science)
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology; ability to support general Science at lower Key Stages is a plus
* Previous experience teaching at secondary level is preferred (ECTs are welcome to apply)
* A genuine passion for Biology and Science education
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
