Graduate Teaching Assistants – Manchester – September Start
Manchester | Full-time | £95-£110 per day | Sept 2025-July 2026
Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching? Would you like to gain valuable experience in a school before applying for teacher training?
Prospero Teaching are recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Manchester. These full-time roles start in September 2025 and run through the academic year to July 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build classroom experience, develop your skills, and make a real impact in the lives of young people.
The Role
* Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Location: Manchester
* Contract: Full-time, term-time only
* Hours: 08:15 – 15:30, Monday to Friday
* Start Date: September 2025
* Duration: Until July 2026
* Pay: £95 to £110 per day (depending on experience)
You will support students across a range of subjects, working with small groups and individuals to help them access the curriculum and reach their potential.
About You
* A recent graduate (all degree backgrounds considered)
* Interested in a future teaching career or working in education
* Positive, proactive and reliable with good communication skills
* Open to completing free Safeguarding & Prevent training with Prospero

To Be Eligible, You Must
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (£56.90)
* Provide two recent professional references
* Have a full CV covering all education and work history since secondary school
