Location: Aramark Contract Catering, Argos Distribution Centre, North Glendon Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14 1UB

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 20 hours per week, flexible over 7 days
Shift Times: Between 7:00am and 8:00pm (to cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner service)
Salary: £13,520 per annum
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and passionate Cook / Food Service Assistant to join our team at a busy distribution centre in Kettering. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a friendly and supportive team, providing quality food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Cooking and serving meals to a high standard
* Delivering excellent customer service during food and beverage service
* Adhering to food hygiene and H.A.C.C.P regulations at all times
* Cleaning kitchen and service areas, including equipment and furniture
* Preparing service areas and assembling meals efficiently
* Operating a Micros till (full training provided)
* Storing food and equipment correctly after service
* Supporting and promoting company health, safety, and hygiene policies
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
* Basic Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
* Knowledge of food hygiene practices, including HACCP
* Strong customer service skills and a courteous manner
