In this busy, varied role you will help support at each stage of the employee lifecycle and we are looking for someone with both experience and passion to join us. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, shows initiative and has excellent communication and organisational skills. You may not have previous experience within a HR role but may have the relevant transferable skills from other roles. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant is responsible for HR correspondence and documentation and to support managers with any HR related queries including absence management, Training & Development, Recruitment and Payroll. Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for the administration of the recruitment process including compiling/posting job adverts and coordination of recruitment activities. Assist with training and development administration, including keeping up to date records and conducting HR inductions and check ins as required. Check and produce a range of HR documents (including but not limited to change of salary, change of conditions, maternity/ paternity/ parental leave confirmation, resignation letters, disciplinary outcomes etc) Gather payroll information ensuring all relevant paperwork is in order before cut off and create monthly payroll schedules for the Finance department. Administer sickness records ensuring documentation is in place, identify trends and highlight any high absence levels across the Group. Maintain the companys Human Resource Management System (HRMS) specifically BreatheHR. Adding new employees onto the system, maintaining accurate records and analysing data Act as a HR helpdesk for the management team, supporting Managers on employee relations matters and advising of correct procedures and policies. Take responsibility for personal development, ensuring knowledge is kept up to date. Study towards CIPD Level 5 as part of the All-Aboard Study Scheme Actively seek to foster a nature of sharing best practice throughout the Aspro UK organisation.
