What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?
Responsibilities
* Taking lead of all mechanical tasks and offering support for electrical issues when required, ensuring all plant machinery meet regulatory requirements.
* Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
* Planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS’, Balers, compactors, shredders, gearboxes, motors etc.
* Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns.
* Travelling to other sites in the area when required.
* Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.
Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent.
* 18th edition qualification- or willingness to complete within 3 months of starting.
* Previous experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mobile plant equipment etc.
* Welding/Fabrication experience.
