Job Overview
We are looking for highly motivated Clinical Support Assistants to join the newly developed Crisis Service. You will have the opportunity to base in either Carlisle or Workington to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to our patients in the community across North Cumbria.
Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering care to service users with a range of needs, diverse presentations, mental health conditions, and cognitive and/or learning disabilities under the direction of a registered practitioner.
* Implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework, ensuring high‑quality, individualised care that promotes recovery, wellbeing and maximises independence.
* Support the team in providing excellent and effective person‑centred care.
* Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
* Engage actively with supervision and appraisal processes as identified in Trust policy.
* Work as part of an MDT, collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and medical staff.
Qualifications & Key Skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team, and a commitment to making a difference to patients. Willingness to learn and participate in continuous professional development. A DBS check will be required.
