* Adapt teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of nonverbal learners, ensuring their engagement and progress.

* Work hand-in-hand with teachers and other specialists to create cohesive and supportive learning plans.

* Maintain meticulous records of student development, celebrating their achievements and tracking progress.

* Offer personal care and hygiene assistance with dignity and respect, as required.

* Embrace continuous learning through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.

* Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.

We're searching for someone who brings not just experience, but genuine passion and empathy to the role. The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven Experience: At least 6 month to 1 year of experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism, brain injury, and complex needs.

* Behavior Management Expertise: A demonstrated ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors and adapt teaching strategies for nonverbal learners.

* Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, staff, and parents.

* Patience & Empathy: A true understanding and commitment to supporting students with disabilities.

* Proactive Problem-Solver: A positive, can-do attitude ready to tackle challenges creatively.

* Relevant Qualifications (Advantageous): Pass grade in GCSE Maths and English.
