Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR 1a (£10,174)

Role

* Lead the strategic development of the Design & Technology curriculum
* Drive outstanding teaching and learning as a Lead Practitioner of Design & Technology across all key stages
* Coach, mentor and inspire colleagues, modelling exceptional classroom practice
* Deliver high-quality CPD as a Lead Practitioner of Design & Technology, supporting whole‑school improvement
* Work with the teaching and learning team to embed evidence‑informed practice
* Ensure that all students, regardless of background, achieve highly in Design & Technology

This Lead Practitioner of Design & Technology role is central to the continued success as one of the highest-performing schools in the borough and among the best in the country.


About You

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background
* Demonstrate outstanding subject knowledge and classroom practice
* Have a proven track record of raising attainment
* Be committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all
* Be an excellent communicator and team player
* Bring integrity, energy, resilience and a strong moral purpose
