About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global R&D Finance team onsite at our Maidstone office. This is a high-impact role supporting financial planning and analysis for our R&D operations in Europe and Africa. You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders to drive insights, improve processes, and influence decision-making across Global R&D.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, possesses strong business acumen, and can work independently to drive results in a collaborative complex and matrixed working environment.
Responsibilities
1. Support Accounting with month-end and year-end close activities, provide monthly financial reporting analysis including explanations and insights of key drivers of variability.
2. Develop and enhance financial models that track and analyze key metrics that impact Global R&D’s financial performance and resource allocations.
3. Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and perform analysis on Capex and Opex projects, ensuring financial alignment with strategic goals.
4. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support executive decision-making.
5. Support mid-year Forecast, Annual budget, and long-term strategic planning activities on Headcount, Opex, and Capex for Global R&D operations.
6. Ensure Global R&D financial activities in compliance with internal policies, controls, and standard operating procedures.
7. Consistently and proactively drive continuous improvements to streamline reporting and analytical processes.
8. Represent Driscoll’s professionally in all internal and external engagements.
9. Other responsibilities as assigned
10. Domestic and international travel might be up to 10%
Candidate Profile
11. Must be able to work onsite 100% of the time.

13. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. (MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred).
14. 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or analytics.
15. Requires strong command of UK GAAP,
16. 2 + years of experience in management accounting, financial and managerial reporting principles.
17. 2 + years data analysis, data visualization, and financial modeling.
18. Requires advanced proficiency with Excel.
19. Requires hands-on experience with any financial systems and tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, and Tableau or other BI analytics tools.
20. Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced global environment
21. Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualification
22. Preferred hands-on experience with using programming languages (Python, SQL,…) for data analytics and financial modelling.
23. Preferred experience with intercompany transactions and consolidations
24. Spanish is a plus.
