High profile public sector organisation is looking to appoint a Communications Director for an initial six month contract position.The role holder, must have previous Director level experience working within Government, Council, arms-length organisation leading strategy and team.
This is focused on external communications and public affairs stakeholder engagement during a period of change and need a highly experienced expert to advise the leadership team.
1. Proactive media relations and campaigns highlighting successful impact on regional economy and communities
2. Also raising awareness on a national level as well as hyper-local work
3. Able to forge strong relationships with Government departments and other political stakeholders
4. Lead on reputation management and strong narrative of their purpose
Need to be available with one month’s notice or ideally less and have a track record of the most senior comms leader in an organsiation operating as part of the executive leadership team.
Need to be in the office three days a week.
