Responsibilities
* Perform accurate and reliable physical and analytical tests on lubricants and related products, adhering to recognized protocols and safety standards.
* Compile and present detailed test results through clear verbal and written communications, tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Collaborate with business leaders and R&D teams to support the advancement of new testing methodologies and ongoing research projects.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of industry standards by innovating test procedures and providing expert insights into vehicle fluid performance.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and cooperation across different labs by training colleagues and expanding expertise on a variety of test techniques throughout the department.
Candidate Profile
* Currently undertaking a chemistry-related degree with plans to complete a year in industry as part of the academic program.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling the creation of coherent reports and confident presentation of technical results.
* Preferably some prior lab experience with familiarity in analytical or physical chemistry techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to work methodically and accurately within a laboratory setting, following safety and quality standards.
* A keen interest in scientific research, innovation, and contributing to tangible product improvements.
