Estate Planning Lawyer – Co-op
We are looking for an Estate Planning Solicitor to join our technical Estate Planning team within Co-op Legal Services. This role involves managing estate planning cases end to end with a client-focused approach to targets. We will source new work for you, and there will be opportunity for progression as our Estate Planning team grows.
Base pay range
Estate Planning Solicitor — £32,000-£44,000 plus excellent benefits (Work level 6A). Full time, 37.5 hours. We are adopting a hybrid working model, with time split between home and any of our offices in Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, or Stratford upon Avon. What you’ll do
* Own caseload of complex Estate Planning cases including Wills, Trusts and LPAs
* Use our case management system to ensure information is recorded accurately
* Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
* Collaborate with expert support from the team and receive administrative support at certain case levels
* Mentor more junior members of the team using your legal knowledge
This role would suit people who have
* Qualified as a solicitor or chartered legal executive, CILEX, or TEP qualification, with a background in estate planning
* Knowledge of tax systems within England & Wales
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to draft documents
* Ability to use initiative and effectively prioritise work
* Client-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships in a remote setting
