Role Purpose

Working within our awesome Finance team, the purpose of the role is to provide robust administrative and analytical support for our Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) till system updates and queries.

Coordinate with the Head of Drinks and Commercial to ensure accurate product listings

Confidently liaise and build a great relationship with our external ePOS Supplier to ensure products and promotions are accurate to the trading style template.

Work with our Marketing Team to ensure new menus and promotions go live, delivered accurately and to scheduled

Produce weekly sales reports in conjunction with the Marketing and Food team

Process requests in a timely manner to support the Publican in their drive for additional sales

Confidentially liaise with publicans and operations teams via the phone and emails.

Produce periodic MP sales data to the field-based team

Work co-operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team and company goals

Undertake general administrative duties as required, in support to the wider team

Accountabilities:

Maintain and update the EPOS system across the business, processing price changes, product additions and removals.

Act as the first point of contact for data-related EPOS support via telephone and email

Maintain CBCB (Can-Buy, Can't-Buy) rules to ensure the agreed product range is available

Create EPOS portal reports on request to support business analysis

Technical Competencies / Professional Expertise:

Self-motivated; able to work on own initiative but also to be flexible in supporting the team

Able to plan and organise effectively in order to meet tight deadlines

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on the telephone and in writing

Ability to build rapport and develop key relationships

Ability to work in a fast paced and changeable environment

Demonstrates a commercial awareness in day to day operations

Proactive approach to individual training, development and progression, a positive can-do attitude

Strong attention to detail – quality is key

A good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel and a competent user of Microsoft Word and Outlook is highly desirable

An active interest in Finance or previous financial administrative experience is desirable but not essential

Experience of using ePOS till system is highly desirable but not essential
