- £42,000 (flexible for highly experienced engineers) Weekly pay structure Paid travel time after 30 minutes each way Overtime available Call out rota 1 in 5: £100 standby payment Double time when called out Additional dispatch fee per job Primarily North West-based work No overnight stays required (none in the past 12 months) Stable, supportive working environment within a small team The Role Installation, servicing, maintenance and commissioning of fire alarm systems Working across a range of sites including commercial and industrial environments Fault finding and diagnostics on open protocol systems Completing accurate service reports and documentation Ensuring all work complies with relevant industry standards Occasional work on emergency lighting and fire extinguishers Managing your own workload while supporting a small engineering team Systems & Equipment Open protocol fire alarm systems Commonly working with C-Tec, Advanced, and Morley panels What We're Looking For Proven experience working on fire alarm systems (install, service & commissioning) FIA qualifications or equivalent (preferred) Strong fault-finding ability and understanding of fire systems Experience with emergency lighting and extinguishers (advantageous) Electrical qualifications (beneficial, not essential) Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g.
