Overview
Multi Skilled Road Surfacing Operative to join our national client, operating from their regional site near Glasgow. The team works mainly across the Scottish Central Belt, South East, and South West.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll be part of a multi-skilled team laying coated materials.
* Operating surfacing plant (paver, rollers, tractor, chipper, etc.).
* Handling hot coated materials and laying to specification and BS tolerances.
* Maintaining plant and site housekeeping.
* Promoting a zero-harm safety culture.
* Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and encouraging best practices.
Qualifications
* Hold a CSCS card (preferred).
* Have essential experience in asphalt and road laying.
* Be qualified to operate surfacing machinery with relevant plant tickets.
* Ideally have experience on motorway projects.
* Work well independently and in a team.
* Be a strong communicator, motivated, and flexible.
* Follow company Health & Safety procedures.
