Senior Governance & Committee Officer needed in Rochdale Paying £21.14 per hr ref 000A A74D Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Lead and support colleagues to ensure Committee Services meets business and organisational needs. Maintain and enhance committee support systems and procedures. Ensure statutory and legislative safeguarding standards are met. Support constitutional reviews and implement legislative changes. Advise elected members, senior managers, and committees on governance and decision-making. Lead quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with local and legislative requirements. Build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, partners, and customers. Deliver staff training and coaching on governance and decision-focused procedures. Support the effective operation of school appeals, including administration and clerking.
