A Cardiff-based, international business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. The role is suitable for an engineer seeking to work on a 2-shift basis, avoiding night shifts.
Role and Responsibilities
* Minimize machinery, equipment, and tooling downtime to ensure efficient operation of the business.
* Perform all necessary building maintenance.
* Implement changes to machinery, equipment, and tooling to improve efficiency.
* Support Maintenance and Production teams to optimize performance.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the Maintenance Department and site activities.
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Significant experience in a Maintenance role.
* Experience in Manufacturing environments.
* Qualified to work on electrical circuits.
* Competent with mechanical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
* Knowledge of Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs.
* Extensive experience with automated machinery.
