We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our growing team based in Darwen. Full training will be provided, and you will enjoy the benefits of working with the UK's largest independent Insurance Brokers.
Our Account Managers are essential to our business, engaging with customers to provide advice on new products, renewals, and understanding their needs to offer products and services that exceed expectations and foster loyalty. We aim to deliver a market-leading customer experience, driven by you. You will meet our commercial targets by maximizing business and service opportunities from all contacts.
What does an Account Manager do here?
* Manage a portfolio of small/mid-range clients, achieving new business and renewal targets.
* Adhere to sales quality standards to ensure high-quality customer outcomes.
* Promote additional products and handle new business inquiries.
* Build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of the PMI market, products, and regulations.
* Negotiate premiums with insurers to secure the best value for clients.
* Record notes on all business, including new and retention activities, in the database.
* Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed to maintain compliance.
What are we looking for in our next Account Manager?
* Proven experience in a customer-focused sales role
* Previous experience in account management
* Ability to upsell and cross-sell effectively
* A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* IT Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
* Experience within Financial Services/General Insurance/Private Medical Insurance is preferable
