As a Branch Manager, you oversee the branch's performance and daily operations, ensuring excellent customer experience, achievement of financial goals, and operational efficiency. You will lead and coach a team, manage sales activities, deepen customer relationships, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. This role involves fostering a positive work environment to drive employee engagement and productivity. You will develop a culture within the branch that emphasizes quality and continuous improvement.
* Lead overall branch performance, achieve sales targets, optimize operations, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
* Motivate sales teams and manage pipelines of prospects and customers.
* Engage in consultative conversations to offer tailored solutions, fostering customer loyalty and increasing productivity.
* Analyze performance data to drive strategic decisions.
* Coach and develop team members, setting expectations and fostering growth.
* Manage hiring, retention, and motivation of branch staff.
* Oversee branch scheduling to meet operational needs.
* Utilize digital platforms to enhance customer interactions and educate on self-service options.
* Ensure exceptional customer service and manage escalated issues.
* Communicate effectively across various channels.
* Ensure risk management and compliance within a complex environment.
* Support nearby branches as needed.
What You Bring:
* High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
* 3+ years in retail bank sales management or related operations; or 5+ years in retail sales management; or 12+ months with Santander in a related role.
* Proven sales leadership, relationship-building, and customer-centric skills.
* Leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to leverage digital tools and make data-driven decisions.
* Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and loss prevention.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and evenings.
Certifications: None listed
Preferred Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office and a strong work history.
Additional Information:
The salary range is $58,125 to $100,000 annually, based on skills and experience. Benefits information is available on the Santander website. Santander values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
