Your Role as Director of Children’s Services
As the Director of Children’s Services (DCS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and sustainability of our core services during a time of significant change and transformation. Here’s what you can expect:
* Lead a dedicated team across a system that includes 550 schools and a budget of £500 million.
* Navigate challenges such as SEND and home-to-school transport pressures, ensuring they are well addressed.
* Foster constructive relationships with partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
* Contribute to the leadership of the County Council as a member of the Corporate Management Team (CMT).
