Monarch Education is recruiting Tutors to work in Alternative Provisions across Nottingham, supporting students who are unable to access mainstream education. This is a unique opportunity for a Tutor who thrives on building relationships, delivering personalised learning, and helping students re-engage with education in a meaningful way. What You'll Be Doing: Delivering 1:1 or small group tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or those who have been excluded or are out of school Adapting lessons to meet individual learning styles and needs Building trust and confidence with learners who may have experienced barriers to education Working in homes, libraries, community centres, or alternative settings What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or relevant tutoring/mentoring experience Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Join Monarch Education?
