Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have a background in office administration. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to various departments, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
Duties
1. Audio word processing Reception duties
2. Liaising with clients in person and by telephone in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care
3. Liaising with others by telephone
4. Arranging mail dispatch by post, hand or Document Exchange which may include large bundles.
5. Preparation of correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing
6. Maintaining up to date time records as appropriate Maintaining diaries and making appointments when required. Photocopying as required.
7. Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information
8. Consumables ordering
9. Daily filing including file opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
10. Ensuring compliance with Equality and Diversity Policy.
11. Any other duties which from time to time are required by the firm.
Requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills, literate and numerate.
* A sound understanding of areas of law and of the firm/ department
* Working knowledge of IT/ computers
Desirable
* Driving License
* Confidentiality requirements.
* Knowledge of data protection regulations
* Some experience of working in a law firm or equivalent

Pay: From £12,750.00 per year
