Engineering Project Manager UK & IRL

Key Responsibilities
* Lead multi-site projects from detailed design to on‑time completion, maintaining budgeted costs and minimal impact on site operations.
* Manage all capital expenditure and relevant operation projects as assigned to the team.
* Ensure a safe, clean working environment and adherence to the company permit system.
* Contractor management with alignment to ZeroHarm health & safety policies.
* Sourcing cost‑effective solutions and working with OEMs/suppliers for best investment return.
* Lead projects and manage teams from detailed design to successful CAR approval stage.
* Complete snag lists, site handover protocols and update site folders.
* Effectively plan, coordinate and communicate with site departments across all sites.
* Liaise with relevant departments to assist in the smooth running of the organisation during project stages.
* Assist Maintenance departments in repeat downtimes and complex engineering fault finding.
* Identify poor reliability equipment and machines affecting site KPIs and plan future Capex investment.
* Communicate effectively with Operations & Engineering Manager, Plant Managers & Site Teams.
* Travel regularly to UK and IRL Unilin sites to keep projects on track.
* Undertake any other tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Engineering Degree qualification or Mechanical/Electrical based apprenticeship qualification.
* 8+ years’ engineering experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry or similar.
* 5+ years senior project management experience.
* Decisive with ability to make decisions quickly and effectively to meet deadlines.
* Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Team player able to work with others and individually to achieve company goals.
* Methodical with excellent organisational, communication, numeric and analytical skills.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to quickly identify practical solutions.
* Ability to multi‑task with multiple projects across multiple sites.
* Experienced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package & CAD.
