About the Role
As a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead the design, deployment, and management of our on-premises infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability. You will play a key role in automating workflows, implementing robust security measures, and collaborating across teams to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Your efforts will directly enable our development teams to deliver solutions efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and Deploy Infrastructure: Plan, configure, and provision hardware and software, including virtual environments and servers, aligned with evolving operational requirements.
* Automation & Optimization: Automate deployment processes, integration workflows, and release cycles using leading DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
* Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security baselines to protect systems against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Virtualization Technologies: Manage and support virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, and vCenter.
* Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
* Collaboration & Documentation: Partner with development teams to facilitate seamless environment integration and develop comprehensive documentation to support knowledge sharing.
* Project Leadership: Lead infrastructure projects, providing clear progress updates and technical insights to stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in infrastructure engineering within a corporate or DevOps environment, working with Linux, Windows, and on-premises systems.
* Hands-on expertise with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, and vCenter.
* Strong familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
