Job Description
We are looking for a confident and collaborative Corporate Commercial lawyer with around 4-6 years PQE to join the UK based legal team of a leading global global manufacturer and distributor of equipment and technologies. Innovative and sustainability-focused, this organization offers a wide range of renowned agricultural machinery brands and digital solutions, all aimed at improving productivity and efficiency across the UK and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior/mid-level lawyer, either from private practice looking for their first in-house move, or someone already in-house seeking a new challenge within a small, supportive UK legal team and collaborating with colleagues across a wider European legal department.
You will provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters arising from all areas of the business within EMEA including:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
* Managing a broad mix of legal queries from multiple departments.
* Advising on corporate governance matters, including M&A transactions, board and shareholder meetings, and regulatory filings.
* Supporting business stakeholders with clear, outcomes-focused advice, balancing legal and commercial risks.
* Mentoring junior lawyers and promoting best practices, including the advancement of AI capabilities within the legal team.
Essential Requirements:
* A qualified lawyer with 4-6 years PQE in Commercial or Corporate Law gained either in house or in private practice
* Strong team player with a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Excellent legal analysis and communication skills.
* Enthusiastic about process improvement and innovation within legal practice.
* Some corporate governance experience
* Collaborative mindset
