Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will be field-based, working closely with a distribution partner to provide technical and commercial support. You will take full ownership of your territory, building strong relationships with the distributor and farmers promoting the benefits of the agronomic solutions.


What You Will Be Doing

* Providing dedicated support and training to distribution partners and their teams.
* Joining advisors on farm visits to offer tailored technical advice and commercially focused insights.
* Developing and growing on farm sales of soil conditioners, crop nutrition and animal welfare products.
* Retaining existing business while identifying new opportunities through data-driven analysis and trials.
* Creating Nutrient Management Plans and other recommendations that demonstrate clear ROI for farmers.
* Keeping up to date with industry knowledge, regulations, and market trends.
* Accurately logging interactions and updates using CRM systems.


What You Need

* A full UK driving licence.
* FACTS certification.
* Experience preparing or interpreting Nutrient Management Plans (RB209 or equivalent).
* On farm experience in farming, agronomy, or commercial farm advice.
* Strong technical and commercial awareness, with confidence in building trusted relationships.
* Experience working with or through agricultural distributors, merchants, or cooperatives.
* The ability to work independently in a field based role.
* Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
* Desirable: A degree (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or a related subject.
